COE Premiums Mostly Higher In First Bidding Exercise Of 2019
Certificate of entitlement (COE) prices ended mostly higher yesterday (January 9).
Category B vehicles, which refer to those above 1600cc or 130bhp, had the highest increase in premiums, rising S$1,199 from S$31,335 to S$32,200.
Category A cars, which are those up to 1600cc, closed at S$25,920 – an increase of $419 from the last bidding exercise.
Open COE premiums rose to S$32,909 from S$31,809.
Premiums for commercial vehicles inched upwards by S$1 to S$27,002.
Motorcycle premiums were the only category that experienced a decrease, by S$179 to S$3,610.
The Singapore Motorshow, happening from January 10 to 13, is expected to raise sales interest and drive demand for COEs.
