Driving Into Sentosa Now Costs Less

Admission fees for cars and taxis entering Sentosa have been reduced to S$2 during lunchtime and in the evenings on weekends.

The Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) said that the fees were revised as part of efforts to simplify island admission fees for guests entering by cars and taxis. These changes will be implemented for an initial period of two years.

Previously, guests entering by cars on weekends and public holidays had to pay S$7 to enter, except during 5pm to 7pm, during which admission fees were S$3. This makes it S$1 to S$5 cheaper to enter Sentosa by car on a weekend or public holiday.

On the other hand, admission fees for taxis have gone up during certain times. At S$6 during 7am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, it is S$1 more expensive to enter Sentosa on weekdays, compared to the previous admission fee of S$5.

However, you can still enter Sentosa for free if you are one of the following:

  • Cyclists
  • Personal mobility device riders
  • Child concession card holders entering the island via Sentosa Express
  • Guests walking in via the Sentosa Boardwalk
  • Guests entering via SBS Transit’s bus 123
