Reduced ERP Rates At Selected Areas Under The End Of The Year
Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges at selected areas in the country will be reduced until the end of the year, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced on Monday (November 12).
The ERP rates have been decreased by S$0.50 to S$1.00, depending on the gantry and time period.
The reductions mean there that will be no ERP charges for certain gantries throughout the day. These gantries include the westbound Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) before Eunos Link, Dunearn Road, Kallang Road, Kallang Bahru and Geylang Bahru and Upper Bukit Timah Road.
Motorists travelling along other gantries – such as the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) – will not pay ERP charges during selected times only.
The revised rates will take place from Saturday (November 17) onward to December 31.
The ERP rates will revert to their pre-review levels from January 2 onwards. The next ERP review will take place in February next year.
